Sometimes you don’t need a new strategy — you just need to wait.Focus on building relationships with customers.Put in more effort than your competition.Make more noise.Provide better service. That’s how you win.
Every handoff reduces efficiency. Eliminate fractures in your tech, team, and information. This lets every dollar you earn fuel more growth and impact.
You get more opportunities when you make more noise.Put yourself out there. Be unforgettable.Even if you’re running a “serious” business, attention is money.“You’re a better ‘serious’ investor, with access to the greatest deal flow, if people know who you are and want to be in business with you.” — Matt Higgins, Burn the Boats
The primary determining factor in business success is your will to persist when things get difficult. There’s no easy mode.
Single points of failure always fail eventually. An antifragile business predicts and plans for chaos.Don’t rely fully on a single sales channel, leader, or platform. What’s here today could be gone tomorrow.
Work-life balance doesn’t solve burnout. Work-life alignment does.Think about it:Spending 10 less hours in hell doesn’t make you any more excited to go back. When building a business remember the 4 Pillars of Profit Potential:- Passion: Is this opportunity something you love?- Prowess: Is this opportunity worth becoming excellent at?- Perception: Will the market value this opportunity as much as you do?- Persistence: Can you pursue this opportunity for 10+ years without hating it?Anything that isn’t a “hell yes” is a “no.”
You can’t avoid the negative stuff: criticism, mistakes, failures. Prepare in advance for the painful parts of the journey. What you’ve accepted cannot catch you by surprise and derail your journey.Business is a game of endurance more than speed. The winners are the ones who stay in the game.
Spend more time thinking, then take a handful of decisive actions. Frantic activity is rarely profitable in the long run.The best cure for anxiety is a plan.
Your business grows when you grow. If you’ve hit a plateau in your entrepreneur journey, but you feel like you’re working overtime, it’s time to change direction. The best place to start is by analyzing the gap between:- Where you are in business and where you’d like to be- Who you are and who you must become to get where you’re goingYou can’t achieve success without changing. And you can change effectively without scrutinizing your strengths and weaknesses.“To be master of oneself one should know oneself.” — Baltasar Gracian, The Art of Worldly Wisdom

If you do the right work at the right time, life tends to fall into place.Be strategic. Focus on your goals. And persist to the end. That’s how you create abundance.#focus #mindset #abundance
You get what you give.In this way, generosity becomes its own reward; selfishness, its own punishment. If you want to be loved, love.If you want to experience abundance, share. If you want to be happy, serve others.#virtue #generosity #love
Patience and wise judgement will carry you far.Don’t trust first impressions. The truth of matters will always reveal itself over time.Keep your eyes and ears open, and seek truth in what is neither spoken nor shown.
You can’t hold onto peace while you’re holding onto expectations.Instead of chasing specific outcomes, learn to go with the flow. You may find that the universe has a better future in store for you than you’d ever dream of.#wuwei #taoism #tao
Good things are coming your way, but only if you stay consistent and focused.Be reliable. Build routines that contribute to steady progress.Do not abandon your goals in favor of some new distraction.Finish what you started.#goals #persistence #personalgrowth
The heart sees what the mind cannot, and the mind sees what the heart will not.Peace is found in the balance of your emotions and rationality.#peace #wisdom #insight
Your mind is an open field where you can either plant a garden or build a prison.Choose wisely.
There’s a season for everything.Ups and downs are part of life.Don’t let abundance blind you to the challenges ahead, and don’t let despair obscure the opportunities coming your way.Fortune always finds balance.#luck #abundance #mindset
Use your time wisely. It’s too much to expect yourself to do everything well all the time if you have too many responsibilities.Narrow your focus.Do a few things as well as you possibly can, and your life will flourish.#focus #wisdom #personalgrowth #mindset #success

Before you choose a book coach, ask yourself these important questions:- Affordable and good enough, or the best of the best?
- Focused on your area of expertise?
- Cheerleader or no-nonsense?
- Fiction or nonfiction?
- Male or female?
- Local?
- What nationality or culture?
- Same-day response or doesn’t matter?
- All-in-one, or focused only on coaching?
- English-speaking, or another native language?
- Communication preferences: in-person, Zoom, email, phone?Tip: many book coaches offer ghostwriting, editing, proofreading, PR, marketing, and publishing services on top of coaching, but not all do. Choose one that fits your needs.Consider the type of person who works best for you.If you need an accountability partner who will “kick you” when you need it, don’t choose a softie. If a no-nonsense type would make you cry and feel defeated, find someone who can uplift and encourage you.A great book coach should do two things: support your strengths and correct your flaws. Honesty is key.
This underrated strategy will help you crush writer’s block 👇Write a Fat Book OutlineOn top of saving time and money, a fat outline will make your book 10 times better.Your fat outline is a meaty document and will contain some if not all of the following:- Research notes
- Sections of the book
- Detailed notes about the approach to a certain section.
- Points at which storytelling will be used, and which stories
- Charts or illustrations
- Content from interviewsA fat outline may contain more information than is included in the final draft. There are a number of reasons for this. You may discover that in a section or chapter you’ve veered off into a new or different direction which explores a whole new topic, or picks up from the subject your book covers. This content could be the foundation of your next book. There’s nothing better than getting an easy head start on your followup title!“A good outline makes the writing process so much easier and helps you keep in mind who your audience is.” — Neil Sahota
Your book will be the ultimate anchor for your personal brand. It serves as the foundation for speaking engagements and presentations, it is the source of many articles and content marketing, and it influences and shapes many followers in a profoundly positive way.
Looking for a book coach? Here are a few things to keep in mind 👇To save time, write down some context about your book.Summarize your book details:- Title
- Subtitle
- Audience
- Chapters
- ThemesDon’t take a long time writing these down - give yourself no more than fifteen minutes. You’re just creating an “elevator pitch” so that book coaches can find out if they might be a good fit.Knowing your goals will help you keep a laser focus as you write and look for a book coach.Try to find someone who has experience with the type of book you’re writing and can give you the results you want.Write down your goals:- Who you want to read it
- How they’ll react as they read
- How the book will help grow your business
- Whether you want the book to help you become a thought leaderRemember not to get stuck on these steps - you don’t have to have all the answers, you just need to start thinking about it. You can pivot anytime!Alignment is the key to mentorship. Find a writing mentor who inspires you and shares your values.
You probably wouldn’t go on a road trip without at least a rough idea of where you plan to go.Similarly, writing a nonfiction book is a long journey for an author. And starting that journey without a road map will cost you time in the long run. Why?Authoring a book is a huge endeavor and, unless you’ve written many books or are just plain lucky or gifted, your book project needs a road map.In the publishing industry a book road map is called an outline. It’s essentially a blueprint, laying out the direction of your book, along with detailed notes on sections, chapters, and content. An outline helps you organize your thoughts and create a logical flow of coherent chapters.Ultimately, an outline can save you a lot of time and anguish spent hitting dead ends, reversing course, or ending up in the dreaded quagmire known as writer’s block.
There’s almost nothing better…Than to hear a fan say, “I read your book and loved it! It’s really helping me.”Hearing that just one time makes it all worth it, but you’ll hear it more than once. When you’re tempted to give up on your book, think of the people who will thank you for your book once it’s published.
Don’t think about writing your book.Relinquish the big picture and focus on breaking down your writing into bite-sized pieces.Just write 1,000 words a day.If that feels like too much, cut it down to 750 or 500.That’s how you build a writing habit that will destroy writer’s block forever.
For many people, embarking on the journey towards thought leadership and book authoring will sound daunting. That’s why we employ The 7 Systems of Influence framework. To help entrepreneurs discover who they are (or want to be), so that we can really help them define their identity. With this framework, we can create thought leaders who are influential on a scale that they would never be able to achieve otherwise. The 7 Systems of Influence are:System 1: Vision
— Who am I? What do I want to accomplish? What’s my big dream?System 2: Genius Zone
— Why me? What combination of knowledge, skills, and experience makes me unique?System 3: Audience
— Who is my ideal audience? What is their dream?System 4: Content
— What’s my message? How will I deliver it? What do I want my ideal audience to do?System 5: Action
— What will I do today? What are my goals, what’s my plan?System 6: Collaboration
— Who will I work with to 1000x my impact?System 7: Love
— Excitement, empathy, good will, and kindness. Are you struggling with any of these 7 Systems? If so, we can help! It’s easier to do hard things when you have a support system.Don’t isolate yourself.
Feeling a bit of imposter syndrome when you think about writing your book?Good! It’s a sign you care about your work.Just don’t let your inner critic stop you from finishing your draft.“If you find yourself asking yourself (and your friends), "Am I really a writer? Am I really an artist?" chances are you are. The counterfeit innovator is wildly self-confident. The real one is scared to death.”
